Torino Sign Italian Striker Simone Zaza On Loan

Italian international striker Simone Zaza has signed for Torino on loan from Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia ahead of the new league season scheduled to start on Saturday.

Zaza, 26, joins the Italian Serie A club from Valencia on a season-long loan deal.

His departure was confirmed via a statement from the Spanish La Liga outfit.

“Valencia CF have reached an agreement with Torino FC on Friday for the compulsory purchase of Italian striker Simone Zaza. The club wants to thank him for his commitment and effort in his time as a Valencia player and wishes him the best of luck in his new stage in Serie A.” The statement said.

Simone Zaza, who has scored two goals in 17 appearances for the Italian national team, joined Valencia in January 2017 for €18m including a €2m loan fee with the obligation to buy for €16m.
