Team Nigeria Arrives Morroco for World Taekwondo President’s Cup

Team Nigeria have arrived Agadir for the third edition of the World Taekwondo President’s Cup in Morocco.

The team of nine athletes will be guided by four coaches all through the competition. 

President of World Taekwondo Africa, Ahmed Fouly says the competition will serve as an opportunity for African Taekwondo athletes to upgrade their rankings ahead of the World Championships in Manchester. 

“This will be a great opportunity for all players to optimize their WT ranking points just before The Manchester World Championships. Especially our African athletes will be able to benefit of this special G2 President Cup Ranking points, with this event being held inside our African Continent,” he said. 

Margaret Binga, President of the Nigeria Taekwondo Federation is billed to officiate at the event scheduled to commence tomorrow, Friday and end on Sunday, April 7.
