Team Kenya, South Africa And Others Finally Land In Asaba For Athletics Championship (Photos)

Athletes and officials from countries like Kenya, South Africa, Cameroon and Congo have finally landed in the Delta State of Asaba, the host city for the 2018 CAA African Senior Athletics Championship.

 

 

The contingents from the aforementioned countries were part of those left stranded by organisers on arrival at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos, Nigeria.

The athletes and officials landed in Asaba safely on Wednesday morning.

Three more batches of athletes and officials from other participating African nations are scheduled to arrive in Asaba later on Wednesday to complete the lineup of over 200 athletes and officials for the competition which runs from Wednesday, August 1 to Sunday, August 5.
