Surprise! Chelsea Fail To Sell Full Allocation For Huge UCL Clash At Atletico

English champions Chelsea have failed to sell the whole 3,437 tickets allocated to the club ahead of the huge UEFA Champions League (UCL) clash with Spanish side Atlético Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano on Wednesday night.

The Wanda Metropolitano, venue for the 2019 UCL final, will host its first ever European fixture when Atlético play Chelsea but the Londoners have surprisingly not taken up their full allocation for the game.

The English Premier League (EPL) champions Chelsea have returned a little over 1,000 of those tickets though over 2,300 English fans are still expected to attend.

One man that is almost certain to be at the game is Brazilian-born Spanish international Diego Costa who is set to link up with Atletico Madrid in January after the club reached an agreement with Chelsea for his transfer. He is expected to watch the game from the presidential balcony.
