Super Six Tournament: Ezenwa Headlines 30-Man CHAN Eagles Squad

Super Eagles goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa is the obvious name on a 30-man squad of players invited by CHAN Eagles coach Salisu Yusuf ahead of the Super Six Tournament in Kano.

Salisu Yusuf and his wards will battle Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) outfits Plateau United, MFM FC, Akwa United, Enyimba and hosts Kano Pillars at the tournament to serve as part of preparations for the 5th African Nations Championship (CHAN) slated for Morocco from January 13 to February 4, 2018.

Other notable players invited by Salisu Yusuf include Osas Okoro, Anthony Okpotu, Rabiu Ali and many more.

The Super Six tournament will start on Monday, December 11 and to this effect, the CHAN Eagles contingent touched down in Kano on Saturday to begin preparation for the 6-team tournament.

The CHAN Eagles of Nigeria are in Group C for Morocco 2018 and they will tackle 2014 champions Libya, Rwanda and Equatorial Guinea with the games scheduled to take place in Tangier.
