Super Eagles Coach Rohr Conducts Stadium Inspection Ahead Of AFCON Qualifiers

Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has conducted an inspection on the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna ahead of the upcoming 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

This was revealed by a statement from the media officer of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ademola Olajire.

The former Bayern Munich defender was accompanied by the NFF’s 2nd Vice President, Shehu Dikko and team administrator Dayo Achor.

“The Technical Adviser checked out the facilities at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in the company of NFF’s Second Vice President Shehu Dikko and Super Eagles’ Team Administrator Dayo Achor.” The statement said.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria lost 2-0 to South Africa on Matchday 1 of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers last year and will face Seychelles in a Matchday 2 clash on September 7 before hosting Libya in October.

Ademola Olajire also revealed that Gernot Rohr will release the Super Eagles squad for the aforementioned match against Seychelles on Friday.
