Super Eagles Camp Bubbles to the Brim In Asaba

Super Eagles camp in Asaba bubbled to the brim on Tuesday as John Ogu, Etebo Ogenekaro, Francis Uzoho, Victor Osimhen, and Henry Onyekuru joined the team.

All twenty-three (23) players called up for the Super Eagles’ AFCON Qualifiers and friendly against Seychelles and Egypt respectively participated in the team’s first training session at the Stephen Keshi Stadium yesterday.

As at Monday, Odion Ighalo, Alex Iwobi, Semi Ajayi, Ikouwem Udo, Valentine Ozonwafor, Ike Ezenwa, Daniel Akpeyi had hit the camp before Ahmed Musa, Paul Onuachu, Effiong Ndifreke, Leon Balogun, Troost Ekong, Kenneth Omeruo, Abdullahi Shehu, Wilfred Ndidi, Chidozie Awaziem, Moses Simon, Jamilu Collins joined the team on Tuesday.

The team had their first training session under the watchful eyes of Coach Gernot Rohr, fans and the media.

Nigeria will take on the Pirates of Seychelles in an inconsequential African Cup of Nations Qualifiers on Friday and will face The Pharaohs of Egypt three days later.

Already, the Pirates are in Nigeria and look forward to rattling the Super Eagles despite failing to pick a ticket for the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
