Club Brugge head coach Ronny Deila has regreted is decision not to sign Victor Boniface during his time in charge of Norwegian side Valarenga.
Boniface spent time on trial at Valeranga while still trying to cut his teeth in the game.
The 22-year-old however failed to get a contract with the Bohemians.
The Nigeria international was later snapped up by another Norwegian club, Bodo/Glimt.
The forward spent three seasons at Bodo/Glimt, netting 13 times in 48 league appearances.
Boniface moved to Belgian Pro League club Union St Gilloise last summer.
The striker spent just one season with Union St Gilloise before moving to Bundesliga giants Bayer Leverkusen.
He has already caught the eye at his new club, netting six times and providing two assists in six appearances across all competitions.
