Manchester United manager José Mourinho has his work cut out especially in the forward areas after he revealed that his star duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku are set for respective injury layoffs.

He delivered the injury report after his team’s disappointing goalless draw with Southampton, Mourinho told BT Sport: “Zlatan – one month out.”

“A massive problem. He is a 37-year-old with a bad knee.” the Portuguese later revealed.

On Romelu Lukaku, who was stretchered off in the first half of the Premier League encounter, Mourinho disclosed that he would miss the next two games at least.

He said: “When you see a player leave the pitch like he did, it is usually two games at least.”
