State Government Reveals Reason for Abrupt Disbandment of Niger Tornadoes Management

Niger State Government has revealed why the management of Nigeria Professional League club Niger Tornadoes were sacked on Tuesday, April 2, 2018.

The revelation was made in a press statement made available to the media on the same date.

In the press statement released by the sports ministry of the state, the ministry confessed tiredness on their own part in accepting the continuous poor run of results.

“The management and staff of Ministry of Sports Development wish to appreciate and your team for the efforts in the running of affairs of Tornadoes Football Club since your appointment.

” However, the Ministry is saddened by the poor performance of the club in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League and therefore wish to dissolve the present Management,” the statement signed by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Mohammed Gana stated.

Niger Tornadoes are currently seated bottom of Group A with 10 points in 13 matches with just 9 games to the end of the season.

“The ministry wishes to thank you for your selfless service to the club and wish you well in your future endeavors. You are by this notice advise to handover to the Permanent Secretary with immediate effect.” The statement concluded.
