Former AC Milan boss Vicenzo Montella has agreed a deal with Sevilla over their vacant managerial post.

He will replace Eduardo Berizzo after the latter was sacked earlier this month as a result of a mixed start to the current season.

His appointment is expected to be sealed once he has agreed a severance package with Italian giants AC Milan.

Vicenzo Montella was dismissed from his managerial post at AC Milan following a disappointing start to the Italian Serie A season despite the fact that over €200m was spent on players in the summer.
