Italian champions Juventus have extended their lead at the top of the Italian Serie A after they thrashed Sampdoria 3-0 at home in a Matchday 32 clash played at the Juventus Stadium on Sunday evening.

Mario Mandzukic, Benedikt Howedes and Sami Khedira got the goals for the Old Lady as they capitalised on nearest challengers Napoli’s slip up to move six points clear.

Napoli played out a disappointing goalless draw with their hosts AC Milan on Sunday afternoon to lose further grounds in the title race.

The Rome Derby also failed to witness goals after Lazio and AS Roma earned the share of the spoils (0-0).
