Serie A Review: Juventus Celebrate 7th Successive Title Triumph With Hellas Victory

Juventus celebrated lifting a 7th successive Italian Serie A title on Saturday with a 2-1 home win over Hellas Verona in what was their final league game of the season.

Daniele Rugani and Miralem Pjanic shot Juventus to a 2-0 lead at the start of the second half only for Alessio Cerci to pull one back for the visitors with 14 minutes left but the Old Lady held on for the win and still had the luxury of having a Stephan Lichsteiner penalty missed.

The victory ensured that Juventus finished the season as the top team with 95 points from 38 league games while Hellas Verona finish as the second bottom team with just 25 points from 38 league matches.
