Serie A Review: Inter Suffer UCL Qualification Mishap After Atalanta Draw

Inter Milan have suffered a big blow in their quest to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League (UCL) following the disappointing goalless draw at Atalanta in what was an Italian Serie A Matchday 32 clash on Saturday night.

A win would have taken Inter Milan above AS Roma and their city rivals Lazio to 3rd spot in the keenly contested race for next season’s UCL.

Luciano Spalleti’s men presently occupy the 5th spot with the same number of points as 3rd-placed Lazio and 4th-placed Roma (60 points) though they have played a game more than their rivals.

Lazio and Roma will face each other on Sunday evening to determine whether one of the two great clubs will take a big step towards UCL qualification.
