Sane Ruled Out For Six Weeks With Ankle Injury

Manchester City winger Leroy Sane has been ruled out for six weeks with ankle ligaments injury.

The German international was injured by a tackle from City defender Joe Bennett during the FA Cup 4th Round clash between the two sides on Sunday afternoon.

Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling were on target as Manchester City book their place in the 5th Round with a 2-0 win.

The extent of Sane’s injury was revealed by the Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola during his pre-match press conference ahead of the Citizens’ week 25 league clash against relegation battlers West Brom at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.
