Sanchez “Will Stay And He Will Respect That” – Wenger

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has reiterated his stance about Alexis Sanchez’s Arsenal future, insisting the Chilean “will respect” his decision and stay at the Emirates.

Sanchez, who heads into the final year of his existing Arsenal contract, returned to training on Tuesday after his extended break despite being reportedly linked to Manchester City all summer.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of Arsenal’s Community Shield game against Chelsea on Sunday, Wenger said: “The only thing I can tell you is he is focused,”

“My decision is clear, he will stay and he will respect that.”

The 28-year-old forward has expressed his quest for Champions League football, something Arsenal won’t provide next season, but Wenger has declared that he would no longer give audience to further questions about the Chilean.

“It is not information anymore, it is suicide,”

“He will be here for this season and if we manage to do it for more seasons, we will do it as well.” the Frecnman concluded.
