Sampdoria have signed Ronaldo Vieira from English Championship side Leeds United ahead of the new season.
The England U21 international midfielder joins the Italian Serie A outfit after putting pen to paper on a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Vieira, 20, will be the fifth English player to play for the Italian club after Trevor Francis, David Platt, Des Walker and Lee Sharpe.
He could make his debut against Fiorentina in a league clash on Saturday, August 19.
Ronaldo Vieira joined Leeds United in September 2015 after impressing while he was on a trial with the club’s academy.
He went on to score once in 63 championship appearances and two goals in 71 appearances in all competitions.
