Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has described Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah as the most polite guy he has ever met in football.

This is the latest accolade coming the way of the Egyptian star who has won a lot of hearts with his performances this season.

German international Rudiger was speaking about Salah during an interview with the BBC ahead of Chelsea’s league meeting with Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening.

When asked about his former teammate at Italian Serie A giants AS Roma, Rudiger said: “To be honest, Salah is the most polite guy I’ve met in football.”

Rudiger and Salah were at Roma until both players left for the English Premier League last summer with the former moving to Chelsea while the latter joined Liverpool before winning the PFA Player of the Year Award last month.
