South East have won the U-15 Future Eagles tournament after they thrashed North West 5-2 in the final match at the Agege Stadium on Tuesday evening.

The tournament is the initiative of both the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Zenith Bank.

Divine Nwachukwu was the star of the show as he netted a hattrick to propel his side to victory. Franklin Eneh and Oluebube Oguduba got the other goals for South East while North West captain Saifullahi Ibrahim got the two consolation goals for his team.

In the earlier match played at the same venue, Future Eagles defeated Pepsi Academy 3-0 through goals from Sopuru Egesiolu (2) and Eniye Hitlaw.
