Rugby League: Lagos Haven Dominate Men’s And Women’s Categories

Lagos Haven Rugby League Football Club continued their brutal evisceration of opposition teams in both the men’s and women’s categories of the Southern Conference of the Nigeria Rugby League on Saturday.

Haven’s men’s side have been cutting swathes in opposition ranks since the league kicked off in April and they continued in similar fashion, dismantling Lagos Broncos with consummate ease in a 64-10 beatdown in week 7 at Eagles Square.

John Precious made 5 conversions and scored one try with Jimoh Lateef adding 3 conversions and one try for the free-scoring victors who are now unbeaten in all six their games this season.

Eko Trinity were awarded a walkover 30-0 victory over Kings who failed to take to the pitch.

In the women’s league, Onyinye Anyanwu made 4 conversions and Vivian Onugha scored two tries as Lagos Haven women dismissed Lagos Rhinos women 34-4.
