Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and other newly signed Juventus stars have performed their initiation ceremony ahead of the start of the new Italian Serie A season scheduled to kickoff on Saturday evening.

The defending champions will lead the way for the first Serie A game of the season with an away trip to Chievo Verona.

It could be Cristiano Ronaldo’s game for the Old Lady since his club-record €100m deal from European champions Real Madrid.

Other signings that featured in the initiation include Emre Can and Italian defender Leonardo Bonucci, who has returned to the club after one season at the San Siro with seven-time European champions AC Milan.

Others include Joao Cancelo and Mattia Perin.
