Rohr Warns Girls To Stay Away From Super Eagles Players In Russia

Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has warned girls to stay away from his players in Russia as he revealed that stringent measures will be put in place and only their families will have access to them.

He was speaking during a media briefing held on Friday ahead of Monday’s friendly game with DR Congo.

In his words, Rohr said: “I will do like other teams, but only families of the players will be allowed to see their husbands. Their children will be allowed also, on Sunday after our first match on Saturday. Families of the players are free to see their husbands, not Russians girls or ‘professional girls’.”

“Our disciplinary measures have to be stronger while in the camp. Players are not allowed to see other girls, except their family members after the game. They can even eat with us if they so like. Each player has his room, no problem for family members, they are free to come.” he added.

After the game against DR Congo on Monday, Gernot Rohr and his boys will leave the country on Wednesday for England ahead of the much publicised June 2 friendly against the Three Lions.
