Reward For Poor Run! Sevilla Fire Head Coach Berizzo

Sevilla have parted company with head coach Eduardo Berizzo after their recent run of poor results.

The former UEFA Europa League (UEL) winners lost 3-1 to Real Sociedad in a Spanish La Liga game on Wednesday to make it just one point from the last three games.

The poor run has prompted the exit of Berizzo, who recently returned from cancer surgery a week ago.

The 48-year old Argentine joined the club from Celta Vigo in May but has only lasted seven months in the job.

The news of his exit was confirmed by the club via a statement, which also revealed that the process to find a new head coach had started.
