The Plateau State Government has concluded plans to host the victorious Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) champions Plateau United at a ceremony on Thursday.
Plateau State Governor, Simon Bako Lalong, is the no.1 supporter of the team and that played a major role as the team emerged champions at the end of the 2016/17 season.
The ‘victory’ ceremony is expected to take place at the State House in Jos.
Plateau United won their first ever league title last season ahead of Lagos-based side MFM FC and they will represent Nigeria in the CAF Champions League (CAFCL) alongside their title rivals from last season.
