Respected Ghanian Journalist Blasts WAFU Cup Organisers On ‘Rented Crowd’ Strategy

Highly respected Ghanian journalist, Michel Oti Adjei, has called out the organisers of ongoing 2017 WAFU Cup tournament in Ghana over their ‘rented crowd’ strategy.

Adjei made this known via his Twitter handle as he faulted the organisers’ strategy of renting crowds to fill the stadium so as to generate an electric atmosphere during games.

His tweet read: “Rented crowd has worked really well at #WAFU2017”

When he was asked how much the spectators were paid, Adjei said he had no idea. He tweeted: “No idea. Just know organising an atmosphere has been a concerted effort so commentator should stop saying how people are into this.”
