Rasheedat Ajibade was unsurprisingly named the best player during the Super Falcons’ 3-0 win over Senegal in their second group game at the ongoing 2018 WAFU Women’s tournament in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.

She won the man-of-the-match award after netting a hattrick to propel Nigeria into the semi-final with two wins from two games.

The Super Falcons had earlier beaten Mali 1-0 in their first Group B game on Thursday before Saturday’s sensational performance against the Teranga Lionesses of Senegal.

Nigeria will next face Togo in the final group game on Monday with a last four place already guaranteed.
