The Athletics Federation of Nigeria has called up a record 86 athletes to represent Nigeria at the Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) U18 and U20 Championships in Abidjan, Ivory Coast from April 16th to 20th.

The contingent to Ivory Coast was selected following the National U18 and U20 Trials which was held at the Gateway International Stadium Ilaro, Ogun State last week.

According to the list released by the AFN, 42 athletes will represent the country in the U18 category while 44 athletes will fly the country’s flag in the U20 category.

The team comprises 18 men and 19 women in the U18 category while the U20 category is made up of 25 men and 19 women.
