Ranger’s Nana Bonsu Makes CAF Confederation Cup Group Stage Best XI

Enugu Rangers’ safe-hands, Nana Bonsu has been named by Confederation of African Football (CAF) as the best goalkeeper of the just concluded group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Bonsu played a major role in the Flying Antelopes campaign, making a total of 29 saves, the highest in the group phase.

The Ghanaian was voted ahead of Felix Annan and other goalkeepers who made their name in the Group stages of the competition.

Nana’s prominence began after his substitution in Rangers’ dramatic comeback against kano Pillars in the finals of the 2018 Aiteo Cup.

Despite exiting the continental competition, Rangers recorded 17 goals and conceded only nine all through.
