Rangers International Handed Favourable CAF Confederation Cup Draw

Rangers International FC have been handed a one-way ticket should they defeat Bantu FC after the CAF Confederation Cup draws held on Friday.

The Aiteo Cup champions face a rather inexperienced team from Lesotho who have only won one match in their past eight continental games, four of which they have lost on home soil.

The Flying Antelopes beat USM Bel-Abbes of Ethiopia to qualify for the last round before the group stage.

Should the Enugu based side qualify, they will have a daunting task ahead of them in the next stage as teams who have Champions League experience will also battle for the second tier continental trophy.

The first leg of the fixture will be played in Mafeteng, Lesotho home-base of the ‘A Mats’o Matebele’.

Rangers will also want to solidify their chances on the continent by giving their best considering that the 2018/2019 Nigeria Professional Football League is yet to being, which serves as a pro and a con for the club.
