The start and end dates for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar has been revealed.

The dates were confirmed by world football’s governing body, FIFA on Friday during a press conference in Moscow ahead of Sunday’s Russia 2018 World Cup final clash between France and Croatia.

According to the international football body, Qatar 2022 will be held between November 21 and December 18, 2022.

This represents the first time the tournament would be held outside the summer time.

Qatar 2022 is the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup and the 2nd edition to be held on the Asian continent after the 2002 edition in South Korea and Japan.
