Premier League Review: Tottenham Leapfrog Liverpool Into 3rd Spot With Comeback Victory

Tottenham Hotspur have moved into the top three on the Premier League table following their comeback victory over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday evening.

The hosts took an early lead through Junior Stanislas’ 7th minute strike before goals from Dele Alli, in-form Son Heung-Min (2) and Serge Aurier turned the game around for a 4-1 win.

It was a crucial result for Tottenham who lost star player Harry Kane to an ankle problem shortly before Dele Alli’s equaliser for the visitors.

The victory takes the North London club to 61 points as they leapfrog Liverpool (60 points) into third spot in the race for UEFA Champions League (UCL) next season.
