Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah produced his best performance in a Reds shirt after he scored four goals and assisted another one to help his side to a 5-0 thrashing of Watford at Anfield in a Premier League Matchday 31 clash on Saturday night.

The Egyptian magician scored a first half brace to edge Liverpool 2-0 up at the interval before teeing up Brazilian star Firmino for the third goal on resumption for the second half.

Salah thereafter added two goals to make it a comprehensive 5-0 win for Jurgen Klopp’s men.

The win takes Liverpool (63 points) above Tottenham Hotspur (61 points) into third position as they significantly open a seven-point gap over fifth placed Chelsea in the race for UEFA Champions League (UCL) qualification next season.

Watford, on the other hand drop from 10th to 11th spot with 36 points.
