Chelsea are firmly back in the race to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League (UCL) after they battled to a 1-0 win at relegation threatened Welsh outfit Swansea City in their Premier League Matchday 36 clash on Saturday night.

Spanish international midfielder Cesc Fabregas was the hero for the Blues as he scored the only goal of the game at the start off an assist from Eden Hazard to help Chelsea narrow the gap on both Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.

Chelsea (66 points) are now two points off top four with their successive league win and a place in next season’s UCL with Tottenham currently the 4th-placed team with 68 points while 3rd-placed Liverpool have 72 points.
