Highly rated Portuguese midfielder Ruben Neves scored the only goal of the game on 34 minutes to give Nuno Santo’s side maximum points against their 10-man hosts, who had Morgan Fox sent off in the second half for two yellow cards.

The victory takes Wolverhampton Wanderers (51 points) seven points clear of nearest challengers Cardiff City (44 points) while underperforming Yorkshire outfit Sheffield Wednesday (27 points) stay in 15th position.
