Premier League Latest: Brighton, Stoke Share The Spoils In Four-Goal Thriller

Brighton and Hove Albion twice came from a goal down to share the spoils in a four-goal thriller during their Premier League Matchday 12 clash with Stoke City at the Amex Stadium on Monday night.

Cameroon international forward Eric Choupo-Moting gave Mark Hughes’ side the lead with 28 minutes gone but the home side fought back through the inpressive Pascal Gross with halftime approaching. Brighton were however not level for long with Stoke City edging ahead for the second time just before the end of the first half.

Chris Hughton’s team again showed why they have surprised many people with their present top 10 status by producing a second comeback on the hour mark through Colombian international José Izquierdo. Both sides thereafter had chances to win before they settled for a 2-2 draw.

Brighton, now on a five-match unbeaten run, were in 9th spot before the game and they remain in the same position after the Stoke City clash with 16 points while their opponents also stay in 15th spot with 13 points but most importantly Mark Hughes move 4 points clear of the relegation zone.
