Poland Confirm Eagles’ March 23 Friendly

Poland have confirmed that they will do battle with the Super Eagles of Nigeria in an international friendly on March 23.

This was made known by the spokesman for the Polish Football Federation, Jakub Kwiatkowski, who also revealed that no venue had been decided yet for the game.

Speaking via his Twitter handle on Monday, Kwiatkowski said: “We can confirm that we will play Nigeria on March 23. Decisions on the location of the match have not been made yet.”

Earlier reports had claimed that the Poles settled for the Super Eagles of Nigeria after they were failed to agree an international friendly date with the Black Stars of Ghana.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face Argentina, Iceland and Croatia in Group D at next year’s World Cup in Russia while Poland have been drawn in Group H alongside Senegal, Japan and Colombia.
