Petr Cech Treats Arsenal Ladies Team in Exemplary Manner

Petr Cech is well known as one of football’s nice guys, and has proven it once more this week by taking the Arsenal women’s team out for a lavish meal.

The Gunners goalkeeper made the gesture as a congratulations for the team’s impressive season so far.

According to The Daily Mail, Cech treated the team to an evening at London’s plush restaurant Sushi Samba, located centrally in the city and boasting views of the capital’s iconic skyline at night.

The 16-strong party posed for pictures together, before midfielder Danielle van de Donk took to social media to share updates of the gathering.

“Had to ask him to sit down for this picture. I had such a good night with everyone, especially with @petrcech #manofhisword,” Van de Donk wrote on Instagram.

Cech looked a picture of happiness among the squad, and reportedly footed the entire bill for the evening.

It is believed the veteran goalkeeper made a promise to take the team out for an evening, should their solid form continue and a place in the Super League Cup final be achieved.

The team’s form has been nothing short of blistering this season, with Arsenal women’s side currently sitting two points off the top with two games in hand.

Qualification for the Women Super League Cup final was secured for the seventh time in eight years of the competition’s history following victory over Manchester United.

They will face Manchester City in the final on Saturday, with the chance to lift some mid-season silverware.
