The Nigeria Para-Powerlifting Federation has released a 6-man list of athletes for the forthcoming 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.

According to the Secretary of the federation, Dayo Abulude, the list is made up of three males and three females.

Abulude also revealed that the selection of the athletes was based on their performance and current for in camp.

The female athletes on the list include Oyema Esther, Nwosu Ndidi and Oyema Esther while the male athletes are Paul Kehinde, Ezuruike Roland and Ibrahim Abdulazeez.

While speaking about the list via NAN, Dayo Abulude said: “The coaches have done a good job by selecting those that they believe will do the country proud in Gold Coast, Australia.”

“Nigerians should be rest assured that the para-powerlifters will come back home with medals at the end of the Games.” he concluded.

The Commonwealth Games is expected to run from April 4 to April 15.
