Nigeria defender Calvin Bassey says his compatriot Victor Osimhen is tailor made for the Premier League.

Osimhen has been linked with Premier League big guns including Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.

The forward has also expressed his desire to one day play in England.

“He (Osimhen) is a joke — the only striker I know who can run a back line by himself,” Bassey said to The Athletic.

“He can run in behind, he can head, finish, he can do everything. The Premier League would suit him. Hopefully, he comes at some point but I would rather have him in my team than against him!”

The 24-year-old penned a contract extension with Napoli on Saturday with a release clause of around €130-€140m.
