MFM FC attacking midfielder, Chukwuka Onuwa, has expressed disappointment and unhappiness about the exclusion of himself and other players of his club from the squad presently representing Nigeria at the Championship of African Nations being held in Morocco.
Speaking to journalists after his side’s 1-0 victory over Kwara United at the Agege Stadium, he spoke about his support for the manager and the players selected, wishing them support and prayers.
Onuwa, who was stretchered off in the middle of the second half of that game, expressed happiness at their first points of the season and clearly stated that he and his colleagues are chasing the NPFL title after finishing second last season.
There is still no report regarding Onuwa’s ankle injury just yet and media officer of MFM FC, Olawale Quadry, told journalists the injury would be accessed on Thursday and a final decision made going forward.
