A late Noni Madueke penalty earned Chelsea a 2-1 win against Crystal Palace in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.
Michael Olise got Palaces’s goal, cancelling out Mykhailo Mudryk’s opener for the Blues.
It is a return to winning ways for Mauricio Pochettino’s side who fell to a 2-1 defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
For Palace, it is now eight straight games without a win, recording five defeats and three draws.
Mudryk broke the deadlock in the 13th minute before Olise equalized for Palace one minute into first half stoppage time.
But in the 89th minute Chelsea got their second goal thanks to Madueke who converted from the penalty spot.
Chelsea move back to 10th place on 25 points in the league table.
