French side Paris Saint Germain (PSG) have signed Brazilian international Daniel Alves on a free transfer after pipping Manchester City to his signature.
English side Manchester City were favourites to sign the 34-year old, who had earlier terminated his contract with Italian champions Juventus. However they lost out to PSG who were more than wiling to pay the former Barcelona right-back’s wage demands.

Alves moved to Juventus from Barcelona last summer but ended up spending just one year in Turing before his contract was terminated. He has signed a two-year deal with PSG reportedly worth a whooping £240,000 a week.
For Manchester City, attention will now solely turn to England and Tottenham defender Kyle Walker as the search for a right-back continues after the summer departures of Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna.
