NWFL: Aisha Falode Banking on Consistency to Attract Sponsors (AUDIO)

Chairman of Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Aisha Falode believes that corporate bodies would start jostling to sponsor the women’s league in Nigeria very soon.

Speaking at the grande finale of the NWPL Super 4 where Bayelsa Queens of Yenagoa emerged champions, Falode opined that the consistency and foundations being laid by the current board of the NWFL would yield success and attract sponsors eventually.

“When you’re looking for sponsors, you just have to be consistent with what you’re doing and with the belief that they’re going to see it at some point to identify with you, consistency is key.”

She also noted that the reforms in the women league has brought fans to the field, improved officiating, and created various activities in the league that potential sponsors can key into.
