Nwankwo Kanu Finally Replies Osaze’s Criticism Of His Wife

Two-time African footballer of the year Kanu Nwankwo has weighed into the public spat between his wife Amara and former Super Eagles teammate Osaze Odemwingie, with the Arsenal legend urging fans to disregard the rantings of his former national teammate.

Odemwingie had made a series of post on Instagram calling Amara a ‘Delilah’ and insinuating she harboured possible adulterous motives by sending him unsolicited private messages.

The former Lille and West Brom forward also attacked Kanu’s son for making a hand sign in a picture which he deemed was satanic in origin.

Odemwingie was roundly criticised for his comments with Amara also leaving a comment under the now-deleted post urging him to take it down and assuring him her intentions were innocuous.

Her husband, Nwankwo Kanu has also added his voice to the issue in a post on his official Twitter page where he urged focus towards positive things.

He added: “I don’t understand this talk that my wife is wooing who?”.

Meanwhile, Odemwingie has apologized for his actions taking to Instagram to reveal a series of texts he exchange with his former teammate in which he attempted to explain his actions.
