NPFL: Wikki Admit Unseriousness Against MFM (AUDIO)

Wikki Tourists technical adviser Aliyu Zubairu says a loss of concentration scuttled their plans of picking at least a point at MFM FC on Match Day 6 of the 2018/2019 Nigeria Professional Football League.

The Bauchi based side fell to a Chijioke Akuneto 69th minute strike in an error-strewn display at the Agege Stadium and the former Akwa United chief coach told busybuddiesng.com that a momentary lapse in concentration cost his team dearly.

“Our match plan was to at least pick a point on the road here and if possible the 3 points but unfortunately we couldn’t get even a point. My boys lost concentration just for a little while and it resulted to a goal and we paid for it,” he said.

Zubairu informed busybuddiesng.com that his side would be stopping over in Akure to prepare ahead of their next match at home to seven-time NPFL champions Enyimba where they would be looking to grab all three points.
