NPFL: Wikki Admit Unseriousness Against MFM (AUDIO)

Wikki Tourists technical adviser Aliyu Zubairu says a loss of concentration scuttled their plans of picking at least a point at MFM FC on Match Day 6 of the 2018/2019 Nigeria Professional Football League.

The Bauchi based side fell to a Chijioke Akuneto 69th minute strike in an error-strewn display at the Agege Stadium and the former Akwa United chief coach told that a momentary lapse in concentration cost his team dearly.

“Our match plan was to at least pick a point on the road here and if possible the 3 points but unfortunately we couldn’t get even a point. My boys lost concentration just for a little while and it resulted to a goal and we paid for it,” he said.

Zubairu informed that his side would be stopping over in Akure to prepare ahead of their next match at home to seven-time NPFL champions Enyimba where they would be looking to grab all three points.
