NPFL: Tosin Omoyele Dreams Titles At New Club Enyimba (AUDIO)

Enyimba striker Tosin Omoyele says he joined the 8-time Nigerian champions with the aim of winning titles.

The 24-year-old forward recently completed a move to the Aba giants from Plateau United, putting pen to paper on a 2-year deal.

He joins an ambitious club – which boasts 2 CAF Champions League titles, 2 CAF Super Cups, 8 league crowns and 4 domestic Cups (AITEO Cup), amongst other laurels.

The former Osun United goal poacher said he understands the weight of expectation at Enyimba and remains eager to contribute his quota to help the Aba side – who will be competing in the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League – win more laurels.

“I just want to be a successful man with the team (Enyimba); like achieve a lot of aims,” he told Channels TV in a recent interview. “Because if the team is achieving whatever they want, I will also be a part of the story by helping the team to win which ever match (they play) and bring my best.

“I’ve not been to the environment and I know the fans over there (in Aba) are waiting for me to come and start training so that we can get prepared for the season.

“I surely believe, I have to say it, joining Enyimba is to get everything done. Before joining them, the chairman (Felix Anyansi Agwu) told me that every season, their aim is to win, at least, one trophy in a season. It’s either I win the NPFL, the AITEO Cup or the CAF (competitions).

“And they have the aim of going to the CAF Champions League final this season.

“I know with God all things are possible. You know I’m not the only player there, it’s just a team work. I am going there to achieve my aim – everything will be fine.”
