Kano Pillars Technical Adviser, Ibrahim Musa believes that victory against Rangers today in the 2018/2019 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Championship Playoffs would all but seal the league title for his side.

Unbeaten Pillars take on Rangers in the first meeting between both sides since the 2018 Aiteo Cup final in October which Pillars lost on penalties having squandered a three-goal lead with just thirteen minutes left in the second half.

Pillars currently lead the playoffs by a point from second-placed Enyimba who are on six points and Musa believes another three points for his side against Rangers will take them to ten points – a tally he believes should prove insurmountable for other sides and enough to win the league for the Sai Masu Gida.

“I am targeting one match, it’s ok for me [to win the league]. Rangers which is another great match for me, when I win Rangers, I’ve got what I want. If I can get that three points, I don’t think that there is any team who can get that ten points,” Musa declared.
