NPFL: Rivers United Go For Broke Against Wikki Tourists – Eguma (AUDIO)

AUDIO: We will Do Everything Possible To Defeat Enyimba – Eguma

Rivers United coach Stanley Eguma has told www.busybuddiesng.com he won’t be taking Sunday’s opponents in the NPFL, Wikki Tourists for granted, as he hopes to the secure maximum points from the encounter in Port Harcourt.

Though he admitted that the match will be difficult, Eguma stated that Rivers United, who are joint-top of the NPFL table with Plateau United and Lobi Stars, are poised for victory against the Usman Abd’Allah- tutored side at the Yakubu Gowon stadium on Sunday.

“Every match in the Premiership (NPFL) is a very strong match, because if you look at the results flying in from different centres, you will not take any team for granted,” he said.

“So, we are going to prepare very well against Wikki Tourists, because we don’t want to be taken unawares. The players know what is at stake. Everybody knows what is at stake in Rivers United. The three points are very, very important for our ambition.

“It is going to be a very interesting match, and I know that Wikki Tourists will be coming here to prove themselves and seek for the points, but we are more determined to pick the three points, because we know if we pick the 3 points, it will help our surge to the top of the log,”

Wikki Tourists are unbeaten in two matches (an away draw and a home win), since former Enyimba coach Usman Abd’Allah took over the rein in Bauchi about two weeks ago.
