MFM and Rivers United have moved into the top ten on the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) table after respective wins in their rescheduled league games.

Lagos-based side MFM defeated Nasarawa United 2-1 at home courtesy goals from Zinte Udeh (penalty) and John Emiloju with Ikechukwu Nwani getting the consolation goal for the visitors.

Rivers United also ended up on the winning side following their 2-0 home win over Akwa United through goals in each half from Emeka Ogbugh and Malachy Ohawume.

The Nasarawa United win moves MFM six places up the table from 15th to 9th spot while Rivers United are into the top six from 13th spot after the win over league title chasers Akwa United.
