NPFL Matchday 18: Lobi Stars Extend Lead With Pillars Win As Enyimba, Rangers And Go Round Earn Away Point

Lobi Stars have extended their lead at the top of the table to six points after they secured a hard fought 1-0 win over 10-man Kano Pillars in their Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) clash on Sunday evening.

Ayo Saka was the hero for the hosts as he scored with nine minutes remaining to secure maximum points for his side against a Pillars side that finished the game with 10 men after Chris Madaki’s dismissal.

Enugu Rangers, Enyimba and Go Round also recorded impressive results in their respective Matchday 18 games.

Rangers played out a goalless draw at FC IfeanyiUbah in the Oriental Derby while Enyimba also got the same result at Wikki Tourists.

Go Round FC of Omoku picked up their first ever away point following a 1-1 draw as guests of fellow relegation candidates Kwara United.
